Fun Facts About Me!

• I am an avid plush collector, namely dog, wolf and cat plushes. I also collect fashion dolls like Monster High and I hope to start getting BJDs one day (tho I'm holding off until I'm more experienced with faceups and the like).


• I live in a forest but thought I lived in a suburban part of town for some reason??


• I love lace but it's itchy on my bare skin. RIP, looks like I need to hand in my goth card.


• I own a dog and four cats. I have a German Shepherd mix named Brownie, while my cats are Jason (calico), Felix (tortie), Sheena (tux) and Spooky (tortie but looks like a black cat).


• I stim primarily by tapping my foot, slapping the desk/clawing at it/pawing?? like a weird making biscuits thing, and by yelling out various memes and quotes related to special interests. I also stim by making my plushies move their arms/front paws back and forth.


• I used to customize dolls, but I no longer have the space to. :C I'll letcha know when I can do it again!


• My favorite sensations are fur, real or fake. I want to be covered in it for hours. So soft!!

My Fursona

This is my fursona, RockCandy. He's my virtual fursuit that lets me roam the digital lands. RockCandy is a hellhound, in between man and dog. Think Smile Dog meets those dog woman clickbait ads you saw in the 2000s, but he can shapeshift into other stuff, namely into a white wolf, a spitz-type dog and a cat, all with the creepy black hair and blank wide eyes. As a doglike creature, he has many dog mannerisms like barking and chewing on things he really shouldn't, but he is also a demon straight out of hell. He can shift between bipedalism and quadrupedalism, and whether or not he wears clothes depends on his mood. He is not to be feared for any evil. He is to be feared for his ability to clear out entire jars of peanut butter in seconds. Aside from that, he's usually spotted snatching up plushies.

He's very much like me, just more reckless because he's a hellhound and therefore is harder to kill than a human, as well as less depressed because how can you be sad when you're a creature?

They're just. Literally me.

Why a Hellhound?

Why NOT? I picked a hellhound to represent something creepy, eldritch and yet so familiar. A demon, but also a dog. But also the interpretation that they're more than just a dog. Growing up neurodivergent in a neurotypical world, I always felt like I wasn't a human and more like I was pretending to be one for some kind of masquerade. I knew I had the intelligence of a human, but not what made humans tick. I connected more with the uncanny valley image of a human, something that wants to be human but never will be. A failed one. Or a former human, one who was irreversibly changed into something beyond a human.

At the same time, I also love animals, especially dogs. I grew up with two and loved how just. Utterly nuts they could be. But I also thought a lot about how dogs can be trained for so many things: you can have a cute lapdog, and you can also have a seeing eye dog who will actively save you from harm. But then, you could also have a dog trained to kill, train it to attack on command and then unleash it. And yet, all the same, its still a dog with a heart that wants to be loved. Very resonant as someone who's grown up feeling like a monster.

Speaking of monsters, I resonate a lot with them. And so I decided my fursona should be a hellhound. Something doglike, something personlike, but not fully either and instead a monster in all its strange, disturbing glory that it can't turn off. Ever. Monsters often don't choose to be monsters, either. They're born too big, too scary, born with instincts incompatible with humans or even the earth itself. And that's not even going into things like how if you get bit by a vampire, werewolf or zombie, you become one. I never chose to be a monster, but I also ain't gonna be boring about it. Monsters are fun! Monsters get to eat people and go on rampages. Monsters get to stomp around and devise weird schemes and live for a stupidly long period of time. And even the nice ones got spice to them, often having magic powers beyond what a human could ever hope for. I may not be human, but that's okay. I don't want human folly. I want to run around and be a creature.

That and growing up in the Bible Belt as a queer AFAB will make you feel demonic, and you'll get sick of that being a bad thing real fast...Okay, he may have taken some cues from Smile Dog. He is just literally me.

My History on the net

Started on the 2000s web, clicked around everywhere for fun dress-up games. Sites are cool and awesome, there's so much cool stuff. Even if I got screamers sometimes. Anyways, I always wanted my own website but didn't know I could make my own at that time. Then, at 11, I got my first DeviantART account, later got a Premium account and realized WAIT I CAN MAKE CUSTOM BOXES LOOK CRAZY? Cue many, many tile backgrounds and crusty anime gifs. This would go on for years and gloriously cringy years...

Then DeviantART went to shit (thanks Eclipse) and I was like "Fine, rest in piss, deviantSHART". I tried many social media sites but nothing scratched my itch for a more personal place. And come to think of it, I had that itch even back when DeviantART was good. For years, I dreamed of having my own website, but I never thought I could do it.

Then Pearl told me about Neocities and YAY I GOT MY OWN SITE NOW!! AFTER YEARS OF BLOOD, SWEAT AND TEARS I CAN DO THINGS LIKE THIS! Can you do that on your newfangled TikToks and Twitters? I rest my case.
